Of course we read a few 100 days' books! Here are a few of my favorites:
Next the kids had to write down 100 words! This took them a long time but they had a blast:
Finally, they made a 100th day of school craft and they turned out so cute:
In writing we talked about all the amazing things we learned in each subject over the past 100 days. I then gave the kids a book of webs where they brainstormed things they learned in each subject:
During snack time the kids counted the 100 pieces of snack they bought. They were able to eat them after covering up their 100 chart:
Next the kids played a money game where they had to sort groups of coins by whether they equaled a $1.00 or not. They also drew examples:
They also worked on a math-related 100th day book:
Their last rotation was making a class book about what they would buy if they had $100. I always love to see what kids think they can get for 100 bucks:
an Elsa doll |
jewelry |
food to feed my family |
movies |
a phone and an iPod and hot dog |
