About Me

Thanks so much for coming to my blog! My name is Kim and I am a Kinder/1st Grade Academic Interventionist! I work with small groups of students who need more support in Reading and Math. I also work with all students at my school with dyslexia (grades K-3).

I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2008 from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. I graduated in 2014 from the University of Texas (Hook 'em!) with my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Language and Literacy. Here I am with my precious parents and two of my best friends, Sarah and Amanda!

I have a wonderful family that got a little bigger in May 2014! My little brother, Mark, married a wonderful girl named Carrie and now I have a new sister!

Also in May 2014, I got a sweet new puppy (May is the best month ever!) and it has been such a joy having her in my life. Her name is Maya and she is a goldendoodle (golden retriever/poodle mix). I adore her and can't believe she is already over a year old.

From 2 months to over a year old:

Here is Maya with my parents' 10-year old golden retriever, Molly:

I love taking pictures of her...it's kind of a problem! :)
